Anna is a GIS Coordinator with American Bird Conservancy (ABC), specializing in spatial planning and decision support for bird conservation. She helps design and deliver BirdScapes—ABC’s long-term framework for tackling priority conservation issues by setting measurable objectives, pinpointing the best implementation areas, and laying out the work needed to achieve lasting habitat and population outcomes. Anna also supports organization-wide GIS administration and develops science products that make complex data usable for real planning decisions. She previously served as ABC’s Oaks and Prairies Joint Venture Science Coordinator and holds an M.S. in Wildlife Ecology (Texas State University) and a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife (University of Minnesota–Twin Cities).
